Settings for generic e-mail apps

If you cannot find a knowledgebase article for your e-mail app, the following generic information may be useful.

Incoming mail server (host name)

Incoming protocol (account type)


Your user or login name

Please use your full email address.

Your password

Your password was likely assigned by your mail administrator. If you are your domain's mail administrator your password was assigned by ABHost.

Incoming port number


Incoming encryption

TLS (if not available use SSL)

Incoming authentication type




Outgoing mail server (host name)

Outgoing protocol (account type)


Outgoing port number


Outgoing encryption

TLS (if not available use SSL)

Outgoing authentication required


Outgoing authentication type
