In the past, we were told to use: mail.{mydomain.com}. Why does your documentation now tell us to use: mail.abhost.net?
mail.{mydomain.com} was an alias name for your mail server, mail.abhost.net. Use of an alias name for mail.abhost.net has been deprecated due to modern requirements for a security certificate on mail servers. By using mail.abhost.net you should not get a warning message when you connect to our mail server.
