It depends on the number of messages, the size of each message, the power and speed or your computer, which e-mail program you are using, and the speed of your connection to the Internet. The best advice we can give to clean out any message that do not need to be stored in your mailbox (that is, stored on our servers). Keeping the number of messages in the inbox folder to a minimum also helps. Move messages you have read to another folder.
